Healing doesn’t start with answers. It starts with better words.
You’ve read the books, done the work, maybe even tried therapy, but something still feels off. The words you’ve been using, “anxiety,” “trauma,” “inner child," feel too clinical, too vague, or just not yours. Without the right language, your healing stays stuck at the surface.
This glossary helps you find the language that fits your lived experience. It is symbolically rich, soul-informed, and creatively alive. Because naming something clearly is the first act of reclaiming power. Before healing can begin, you need words that truly recognize you.

Affect-Bridge
Affekt-bro, dansk
Definition
Affect-Bridge is an inner emotional pathway that helps you safely connect your present self with past emotional pain. It works by linking current feelings to old memories that your logical mind might not remember but your body still carries. Instead of talking through your pain with only words, the Affect-Bridge uses emotional experience to bring healing from the inside out. Inspired by the deep work of Ernest Rossi, Steve & Pauline Richards, and Mark Solms. This is not about thinking differently. It’s about feeling differently.
Why It Matters
You can’t think your way out of wounds that were hardwired by trauma into instinctual predictions. Real healing begins when you connect emotion memory to ego-awareness in a safe, soulful way. The Affect-Bridge helps you do just that.
AI: CyberCell
CyberCell, dansk
Definition
The word “cell” used to mean something sacred (ophøjet) and full of meaning. In old monastic life, a cell was a small room where a monk went to pray, reflect, and grow spiritually. It was a quiet, sacred place where the soul could stretch beyond the walls and connect with something bigger, like the sky or heaven. The monk’s cell was a place of inward freedom, not isolation. Today, the “cyber cell” is something very different. It traps us in front of screens and endless digital noise. Instead of growing, we get stuck in a loop of distraction, anxiety, and loneliness, completely removed from our Instinctual Consciousness. This term was created by Michael C. Walker to help men recognize and break free from this digital hypnosis.
Why It Matters
There is a reason controlling systems have inverted the word “cell.” The sacred meaning is lost. Instead of a place for deep transformation, our modern cybercells lock us in passive states that block real connection with ourselves and others. Knowing this helps you spot the trap, so you can break free and reclaim your inner space.
AI: DoomLoop
DoomLoop, dansk
Definition
DoomLoop is a vicious cycle where powerful tech rulers sell empty AI dreams as a fix that never arrives. They keep us chasing quick money, easy solutions, and new business tricks while secretly tightening control over our lives. Every time we fall for it, we lose more energy, hope, and freedom. It’s like being stuck in a CyberCell that drains your mind, body, and future. This term was created by Michael C. Walker to help men recognize and break free from this digital hypnosis.
Why It Matters
Tech prophets and experts warn that the near future will be dystopian. But then they promise that in 10 to 15 years, AI will solve everything and we’ll finally be free. The catch is, they want us to hand over control while pretending the technofascist overlords will disappear. This cycle repeats again and again: dystopia now, salvation later, rinse and repeat...until we forget and they roll out new schemes that tighten the screws.
Biopsychosocial Model
Biopsykosocial model, dansk
Definition
The Biopsychosocial Model is a way of understanding your health and healing that includes your body, your mind, and your relationships. Instead of saying problems are just in your body or just in your head, this model sees you as a full person: flesh, feelings, and family. Originally proposed by Dr. George Engel and reimagined through Michael C. Walker’s lens, it steps away from the cold, medical view of health and looks at how stress, trauma, purpose, environment, and culture all play a role in how you feel and who you become.
Why It Matters
You’re not a machine with broken parts. You’re a living system. If you want real change, you need a model that sees your whole story, not just your symptoms.
Carving the Tombstone
Biopsykosocial model, dansk
Definition
The intentional, deliberate act of identifying, and then naming, by symbolically engraving a deeply ingrained psychological complex as a type of exorcism. It is done by sculpting a compassionate and definitive marker of communication that signals the end of its hold over one’s identity and emotional life.
Drawing a Line in the Sand
There is a story in the Bible that says the scribes and Pharisees brought before Jesus a woman caught in the very act of adultery. They placed her in the center of the crowd and confronted Him, reminding Him of Moses’ law that such a woman must be stoned. Their question was seeking to trap Jesus with His answer.
Jesus lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last. —John 8:3-9 (KJV)
When confronting malignant complexes (the hidden emotional patterns that quietly shape our behaviors, relationships, and self-view) Carving the Tombstone becomes a transformative ritual. It’s not about erasing or dismissing pain. It’s about confronting it with intention and compassion, then asserting agency by clearly naming and engraving its boundaries.
This process:
-
Distinguishes the self from the pain: Like carving a precise inscription, it carefully separates your true identity from the restrictive narratives and emotional wounds you’ve internalized.
-
Stops repetitive cycles: Just as a tombstone’s engraving marks a final resting place, this act symbolically seals the malignant complex’s influence, thus ending unconscious cycles of trauma replay.
-
Opens space for healing and transformation: With the complex clearly defined and marked, new growth and authentic emotional freedom can emerge.
-
Claims power and sets boundaries: It’s a bold, empowered statement that the old pain no longer governs your story, you define your path forward.
In essence, the confronting of the Malignant Complex for what it is, much like the Greek term ἐπιτιμάω (epitimáō), meaning “to rebuke” or “to cast out,” which is where the word epitaph comes from. This is the root for the word epitaph. "Epitaph" is derived from the Greek epitaphios which means “upon the tomb.” It combines epi- (meaning “upon” or “over”) and taphos (meaning “tomb” or “grave”).
In a symbolic sense, an epitaph marks the end of something, just as a tombstone signifies the closure of life. When we assign an epitaph to a Malignant Complex, we are metaphorically placing a tombstone on the negative patterns and unresolved pain that have governed us for so long, a tortured spirit laid to rest.
Carving the Tombstone is a sacred, active process of liberation, crafting a lasting symbol of closure that frees you from the chains of past wounds and invites true healing and renewal (Counter-Complex).
On Helping Others
A desperate father brought his afflicted son to Jesus’ disciples, hoping for healing, but they were powerless to help. Frustrated by their lack of faith and understanding, Jesus addressed the crowd with a sharp rebuke, calling out their doubt and stubbornness. He then commanded the demon to leave the boy, and immediately the child was healed. Later, the disciples privately questioned Jesus, confused about why they had failed to cast out the spirit.
This kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting. —Matthew 17:21
When a Malignant Complex is deeply invasive, entwined so tightly in another person’s identity or behavior that they cannot or will not confront it themselves, Carving the Tombstone can be compassionately performed on their behalf. This does not mean taking control or judgment, but rather recognizing and addressing the spirit of the complex as an external force impacting relationships and other dynamics.
By naming and symbolically marking the malignant influence in another with empathy and care, one creates a boundary that honors both their struggle and your own emotional safety. This act helps to gently confront the complex’s hold, allowing space for healing energies to enter, even when direct confrontation is not yet possible.
In this way, Carving the Tombstone serves as a sacred form of intercession, acknowledging the wounded spirit, setting compassionate limits, and inviting transformation beyond what words alone can express.
Complex: Counter-Complex
Kompleks: Mod-Kompleks, dansk
Definition
A Counter-Complex is a deeper part of you that wakes up when an old emotional pattern starts to hurt more than it helps. It’s like your inner system building a better prediction models that are healthy and wise. It comes from your body’s instinct and your soul’s memory, not just your thinking mind. The idea of psychogenic complexes, first explored by Pierre Janet, adapted in Jungian depth psychology, and now reframed by Michael C. Walker, it responds to old trauma by creating a new story inside you, one that actually works. Instead of repeating the same pain, you build something new from the inside out.
Why It Matters
Most men are trapped in loops they don’t even know they’re in. This is the name for the thing that can finally break the loop.
Complex: Dynamic Complex
Dynamisk Kompleks, dansk
Definition
A Dynamic Complex is a living part of your inner world that helps you grow into who you really are. It connects your thinking self (the “you” you know) to your deeper, instinctual self (the part of you that feels and senses before you think called the Instinctual Consciousness). These inner structures form naturally as you go through life. They hold emotion, memory, and energy, helping you adapt, make sense of your genomic story, and evolve. A term developed by Michael C. Walker, the idea of psychogenic complexes, first explored by Pierre Janet, then Jungian psychology, Dynamic Complexes are the natural tools your psyche uses to build a strong, balanced personality.
Why It Matters
When you're raised in a healthy way, especially in your first few years, your mind builds powerful inner patterns that help you understand life. These Dynamic Complexes carry built-in wisdom that fits your unique soul and story. They are the original code that helps you grow, love, and lead from your true self.
Complex: Identified Malignant Complex
Identificeret Malignt Kompleks, dansk
Definition
An Identified Malignant Complex is a toxic mental pattern that has become so deeply tied to your identity that you think it is you. It usually comes from early trauma or emotional neglect, then grows stronger over time. Because you’re merged with it, you don’t question it, you defend it. These complexes can act like hidden programs in your mind, hijacking your choices and relationships. The term created by Michael C. Walker is based on the deep work of Jungian psychology, this concept shows how old pain becomes a false personality that fights to survive inside you.
Why It Matters
When you confuse a wounded survival part of you with your real self, you stay stuck in an old story that isn’t yours. These complexes block your growth by feeding you lies about your worth, power, and future. Naming it breaks the spell.
Complex: Malignant Complexes
Maligne Komplekser, dansk
Definition
Malignant Complexes are deep, hidden parts of your mind that formed from early pain or trauma. At first, they helped you survive. But over time, they started running your life from the shadows. These complexes act like mental parasites, feeding on your energy and keeping you stuck in old stories about yourself. They’re built from thoughts, feelings, and reactions that repeat like a broken record, stopping you from becoming your real self. Inspired by Carl Jung and expanded through the trauma healing lens of Michael C. Walker, this term helps explain why you sometimes feel like something inside you is working against your own soul.
Why It Matters
These complexes are built to stay hidden, but once you see them, you can stop living their lie and start writing your own story. Spotting them is the beginning of real freedom.
Complex: Psychogenic Complex
Psykogen Komplekser, dansk
Definition
A Psychogenic Complex is a kind of psychic knot made from your thoughts, emotions, body reactions, and spiritual energy all mixed together. It doesn’t live in one place like your head or heart. It spreads across your whole being. These complexes aren’t just “mental,” they form when your system tries to make sense of pain, confusion, or inner conflict. They're created by your genomic instincts and mind together, shaped by culture, memory, trauma, and spirit. First coined and defined by Michael C. Walker, is based on The ideas of Pierre Janet. Psychogenic Complexes helps us understand the full picture of how our inner prediction models are built and where they live.
Why It Matters
Until you see how your genomic story is living inside your body, spirit, and mind all at once, you’ll keep fighting the wrong enemy. These complexes can’t be “fixed”, but they can be understood, integrated, and evolved.
Confabulated Scene
Konfabuleret scene, dansk
Definition
Psychogenic Complexes are held together in the long-term memory by a snapshot of the “confabulated scene” of imagery, sensations, and narrative at the time or reoccurring events that the psyche (Instinctual Consciousness) felt it would be better to split of valuable “potential” in the form of a Malignant Complex.
The idea of “confabulated” (fabricate imaginary experiences as compensation for loss of memory) does not mean that that the scene is made-up or a lie, it simply means that the Instinctual Consciousness’ Psychogenic Bandwidth is so large that the story needs a less constrained narrative form to hold the information.
Why It Matters
In the modern West, the self-aware ego mind has taken on an inflated position in the cultural zeitgeist, enthroned as the ultimate authority through its fixation on logic, deduction, empiricism, and sequential order. While these tools have their place, they cannot carry the full weight of human meaning. The dream speaks a different language, the language of the Soul (Instinctual Consciousness), and it speaks in the grammar of metaphor, symbolism, and poesis.
A Confabulated Scene is the mind’s bridge into this deeper terrain. It is essential for receiving the vast psychogenic bandwidth of the Instinctual Consciousness: Soul, spirit, logos, instinctual memory and drives, past information, genomic teleology, and the unconscious data of everything in the environment held in long-term memory. Here, the scene is not a lie or fantasy, but a living literary vessel, capable of holding the non-linear, multi-layered, and counterintuitive truth that the egoic rational mind cannot sequence.
By working with Confabulated Scenes, we bypass the ego’s narrow channels and open to a mode of knowing where instinct, memory, and meaning are woven together, a language that speaks not only to the mind, but to the entire being.
Creative Emersion
Kreativ Fordybelse, dansk
Definition
If you don’t know how to use your imagination right, it will use you. Creative Emersion is when you dive deep into your own imagination, not to escape reality by going inro fantasy, but to reshape your engagement with life from the inside out. It happens in a special space between your instincts, thoughts, and ego, where real transformation can begin. This process, developed and expanded by Michael C. Walker, helps you move past shallow fantasy and into a zone of life changing creativity. It’s the opposite of daydreaming to avoid life. Instead, you start building a new genomic story that includes all of you, your drive, your wounds, your higher self.
Why It Matters
Most guys are either stuck in overthinking or lost in fantasy. This teaches you to ride the wave between both and create from your core.
